We here at WildKat will be recommending 5 items that we have found inspiring, educational or enjoyable recently. Every Monday, a member of WildKat will recommend an Album, a Livestream or Concert, and three other items that mean something to them. We will also be including links to everything in their descriptions below. Be sure to check back each week as we will be sharing a new list of recommendations!
This week, we have our Head of Press for Germany and France Laure Ugolini sharing her recommendations!
Album
Irma – The Dawn
“She is an all-round talent: she writes, plays, sing and produce her music and her clips are produced by the rising generation of French woman video makers like the great Marion Seclin. And did I not mention her voice? Well then check yourself, it’s amazing”
Live Music
DSO Berlin
“Finally live music and in open air! A great initiative from the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin who organized last Saturday 15 Pop-up concerts of chamber music ensemble, on 14 different places in Berlin, to finally end up together in the center as an orchestra. I followed them on a few station only, with my 2-years old daughter – but we danced up a storm! Our favorite was the wind octets in front of the Haus der Kultur Der Welt”
Book
Michelle Obama – Becoming
“We’ve all seen the great speech she just gave at the 2020 Democratic National Convention. On the political level, I won’t recommend this book, as it don’t go into much details. But if you want to understand what it is to grow up as afro-american woman in the US in the 70/80, this is brillant. She worked so much to go how far she went, staying in the mean time so humble and with both feet on the earth – she is definitely a role model for me!”

“Kid’s drawings hilariously brought to life. A father who turns his childrens drawing into real stuff – how great is the internet?!”
Charity
Wires Wildlife Rescue
“I know Covid got all the spotlight for months now, but not so long ago, the Amazon Wild Fires were too. Forest are not only vital for us, it is also the habitat of thousand of animals. And one is sure: those poor animals are not the reason why the forest is burning. I made some research at the time and donate to this founded and established non-profit, working locally to help all wild animals who lost their homes. Have a look at their work and donate if you can!”
