We are looking forward to a great bank holiday weekend and here’s what we will get up to.

Julia Donaldson, author of The Gruffalo and the newly appointed Children’s Laureate is singing from and acting out her work at the British Library on Saturday, 25th August from 2-3pm. The Gruffalo was always my absolute favourite book to read to my goddaughter when she was younger. Click here.
If, like me, you missed out on tickets for the Wallace and Gromit Prom this year, there’s a chance to see it on BBC1 on Monday, 27th August from 2.45pm – the Prom includes Wallace’s My Concerto in Ee, Lad. Click here.

The BFI always are bang on the money with their programming – a couple of months ago I went to see The Apartment and it was wonderful. At the moment they’re doing an amazing season of Hitchcock. I can’t tear myself away! Click here.
This has had incredible reviews and has been anticipated for months. I’m a sucker for a play cycle (I spent a whole weekend at the RSC watching the Histories cycle directed by Michael Boyd) so can’t wait to get my teeth into this one. Click here.

Vintage (and my definition of vintage does not include the 80ies just yet) markets are my weakness. I can’t wait to rummage around and find some gems on 27th August. Click here.
The TATE is such an amazing place and I really want to check this one out. Click here.
Regent’s Park is stunning and with this summery weather enjoying an open air show is ideal! Click here.
