Alberto Giurioli

pianist and composer

Alberto Giurioli is an Italian pianist and composer, based in London.

Born in Rovigo, Giurioli began to play the piano at the age of 4 and quickly discovered his passion for orchestral music. After familiarising himself with the work of classical composers, he created his own compositional style by incorporating  the disciplines of guitar, bass and drums as well as piano. He began to experiment with a fusion of classical music with electronic sounds and other genres, discovering his  own voice in the Neoclassical genre.

Since 2015, Alberto Giurioli has been catching the attention of classical and non-classical audiences worldwide; singles “One Note” (2015), “Following Yourself” (2017), “Tutto è bellissimo” (2017) and “Nightfall”(2018) have gained millions of streams on Spotify and Apple Music. “Tutto è bellissimo” reached #1 on the Classical iTunes Charts (UK and Spain) and has been used by brands such as Porsche, with airplay on  ABC Classical in Australia and regular play in the UK on Scala and Classic FM.

Alberto is also the youngest composer ever to enter Classic FM’s Hall of Fame. After his single “Nightfall” received its premiere on the station, and aired on BBC, Alberto was invited for an interview and to record a solo piano session of his popular singles at BBC Maida Vale Studios MV4 for the Janice Long show.

In 2021, Alberto was named by Classic FM and Julian Lloyd Webber as one of 30 Brilliant Classical Musicians Under 30 with artists such as Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Esther Abrami and others.
