Clare and the Reasons is a Brooklyn-based duo of indie pop and folk musicians, Clare and Olivier Manchon. The band published its debut album The Movie in 2007, featuring witty songs and sophisticated melodies, played on a variety of instruments, including cellos, violas, kazoos, saws, recorders and bass drums. Following the 2-year promotional tour of The Movie across Europe and the USA, the band released its second album, Arrow, in October 2009.
