Standing as one of the world’s finest contemporary music ensembles with a reputation built on cutting-edge programming and virtuosic performances, The London Sinfonietta was founded in 1968, and have since commissioned nearly 400 new works, and premiered many hundreds more.

They place the best contemporary classical music at the heart of today’s culture, engaging and challenging the public through inspiring performances of the highest standard and taking risks to develop new work and talent.

This summer season for 2021 will see a host of premieres from Laura Bowler, Gavin Higgins, Kerry Andrew, Naomi Pinnock, Hannah Kendall and many more. London Sinfonietta will continue with its digital concert programme and welcomes back audiences to live concerts at Kings Place once restrictions are eased.
