Oxford Chamber Music Festival
The Oxford Chamber Music Festival was founded in 2000 by the Oxford born violinist Priya Mitchell and has gained a reputation for being one of the most exciting music festivals in Europe. The OCMF provides a platform for talented artists to come together to make chamber music at the highest level, and for an ever-expanding audience to experience the electrifying results of musical collaboration on diverse and innovative new approaches to chamber performance.
Its programming represents an exploration for musicians and audiences alike, and combines the best-known pieces in the repertoire with unusual and recherché hidden gems. Musical worlds collide and new paths are forged as performers from vastly different genres are brought together among the dreaming spires of Oxford.
