With a commitment to presenting new operas, the all-embracing Tête à Tête: The Opera Festival has seen everything from operas involving trampolines to operatic dating apps to queer feminist gardening societies. For its 15th iteration this annual, pioneering festival of new opera will run from 15th August – 11th September, across London and online and promises to be as outlandish as ever.

 For those who can’t wait until August for a slice of operatic-surprise, Tête à Tête has a full year ahead with a wider season that encompasses The Firework-Maker’s Daughter with the Minack Theatre and Prideaux Place across various dates from 21 June – 3 July; and HOME, a large-scale community project in collaboration with the Royal Northern Sinfonia, at The Parks Sports Centre North Shields on 16 July.
