Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt gets increase in funding
The Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt (GKO) celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014. Since moving to Germany in 1990, the orchestra has been based in Ingolstadt and has, during these eventful thirty years, deeply rooted itself in the city and earned an excellent reputation, both regionally and internationally.
The new artistic director, Ariel Zuckermann, is a familiar face for the Ingolstadt residents. In 2021, the Israeli conductor will return to the GKO Ingolstadt, which he has already led between 2006 and 2011.
In order to pave the way for a successful future and to support the professional development of the GKO Ingolstadt, the city of Ingolstadt has decided on a multi-level increase in the funding for the orchestra. This will provide the Chamber orchestra with excellent new opportunities to further enhance its musical quality. The course has been set for the GKO Ingolstadt to develop into an A-orchestra.
WildKat PR is pleased to support the GKO Ingolstadt for this exciting new phase in press and public relations, in cooperation with Anja Rauschardt.
