BACKLionel Bringuier’s latest CD La Muse et le Poète is out now on Erato. The disc features music by Camille Saint-Saëns performed by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Renaud Capuçon and Gautier Capuçon.
Despite Saint-Saëns’ first love being the piano, he was always passionate about the sound world and colour palate of string instruments, and the intrinsic virtuosity of his music is inherent in the works on this disc.
