In today’s news: Alexander Liebreich named Chief Conductor of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and Alison Balsom appointed as artistic director of Cheltenham Music Festival. Also, the Berlin Philharmonic to form an amateur orchestra, tenor Bruce Rankin is dead and artists are getting attacked more often as Unesco reports.

Er starb am Montag im Alter von 65 Jahren. Der Tenor war ab 1998 Ensemblemitglied an der Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
