WildKat understands that we need to make deeper and more honest commitments to be anti-racist and support our Black colleagues, friends and people around the world. Promises for inclusion, diversity and equality do not go far enough and we recognise the need for clear actions to make strong our commitments to change.
Black Lives Matter. We are proud, as a company, to support this movement. Like many others in the music industry, our social media will fall silent today as we instead take time to review our output, educate ourselves further on anti-racism, and look to make material changes and real commitments for the future. From the people and organisations that we work with, to the journalists we speak to, to the stories and voices we share, we will start here to take action against inequality. We will provide resources for our colleagues, and this will become a key part of our company ethos.
Our action starts here today with the small step of not sharing any news unrelated to the Black Lives Matter movement and only sharing our intentions and actions for new commitments.
