Yesterday in Madrid, eight pianos were placed in different spots about the city for everyone to play.
The initiative was taken in connection with a concert by Ukrainian pianist Stanislav Khristenko at the Auditorio Nacional de Música, Madrid, which took place yesterday evening.
Stanislav Khristenko won the ‘Concurso de Música Maria Canals’, a competition held annually in the Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelona.
The idea of placing these eight pianos about the city was to get the public into the spirit of the concert that evening.
In this video, members of the public play one of the pianos and discuss the project.
