WildKat PR is delighted to welcome the talented Italian pianist Vanessa Benelli Mosell as our newest client. Vanessa Benelli Mosell is a rising star on the international classical music scene, having worked with prestigious orchestras such as the Münchner Symphoniker, Berliner Symphoniker, Moscow Soloists and Zurich Chamber Orchestra. Vanessa studied at the International Piano Academy in Imola, the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Royal College of Music in London; she was also invited by Karlheinz Stockhausen to study with him in Germany. Vanessa has since received international acclaim for her interpretations of Stockhausen’s Klavierstücke. The composer was convinced that “Vanessa Benelli Mosell has the power to let people appreciate my music”. Karlheinz Stockhausen was a mentor to Vanessa up until his unexpected death and remains an important influence on Vanessa’s music making, encouraging her passion for contemporary music and her championing of composers today as well as the great classics.

Both her debut recording of virtuosic pieces by Prokofiev, Haydn, Scriabin and Liszt and her  ‘A Liszt Recital‘ album were praised by Gramophone Magazine as “impressively refined and nuanced” with “sparkling technique in demanding music”. Recently, Vanessa toured South America and Israel and gave her debut performance at the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. Her schedule for the 2014/16 season looks just as exciting and includes a concert series across Germany with violinist Linus Roth, and returns to the UK, Israel, Russia and Turkey.
