‘I’ve just finished bingeing HBO’s spectacular, seductive, sharp Succession – and am now despairing that a third series, though written, is yet to be filmed. I’m going to miss each and every one of those despicable, cutthroat Roys and their Machiavellian dirty doings as they jockey for control of the Waystar Royco multimedia empire. All performances are superb. The writing is searing and brutal. Dysfunction has never looked better. And at times it is laugh-out-loud hilarious with moments that can only be watched through fingers.’
